Description
The Kingdom of Justice: Stories from the Life of Umar recaptures the rules of justice and equality before the law that pervaded the life of the first Islamic community. The example set by the Prophet (blessings of Allah and peace be upon him) was followed faithfully by all his followers, but the six episodes from the life of the second Caliph, Umar bin al-Khattab, give a rich taste of what it meant to live under the sovereignty of One God alone.
Recommended for ages 7-11.
